Ying-Yi Chih is currently a Professor in Project Management, and the Associate Dean (Students & Industry Experience) at the College of Business and Economics (CBE) at the Australian National University. As a project management academic, Ying-Yi researches issues related to project management process (e.g., project value co-creation and public-private partnership), employee well-being and performance management in project-based environments from a socialpsychological perspective, and students’ employability and career adaptability. Her research has contributed to advancing evidence-based project management education and practices.
Ying-Yi is also a highly committed educator. Her sustained commitment to teaching excellence was officially recognised by multiple awards, including the 2015 ANU Vice-Chancellor’s Citation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning and 2014 ANU College of Business and Economics Award for Teaching Excellence. Since 2019, Ying-Yi has taken up leadership roles in CBE. In her formal role as the Director of Higher Degree Research (HDR), Ying-Yi had made significant leadership contributions to promoting excellence in HDR experience and supervision across the College and University.
In her current Associate Deanship, Ying-Yi provides strategic leadership in deepening and broadening the University’s partnerships with the community, industry and government for student career development and employability across the College.
