Linda is a graduate of Curtin University with a Bachelor of Commerce (HR and IR). She has postgraduate qualifications in corporate governance, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She spent the first 13 years of her professional career in the public health system in senior leadership roles in administration, rural hospital management in the South West of Western Australia, and in major hospital redevelopment projects.
In 2010 Linda moved to Curtin University where she has held a variety of roles within Faculty of Health Sciences and the DVC Academic portfolio. These have included in the Curtin Medical School, tutoring in Academic Writing, and managing strategic projects in the learning and student experience areas. In her current role, Linda leads the Student Life and Community Area, overseeing a large and diverse portfolio of programs that support students to achieve their version of success; and help the university contribute to thriving and sustainable communities. She is also the WA Universities representative on the Rural and Remote Education Advisory Council to the State Minister for Education.
Outside of work Linda has two children aged 12 and 18 and is Chair of her Senior High School Board.
